Stan Rzeczy publishes exclusively academic articles that have never before seen print and which are the original work of their authors (with the exception of translations and any visual material). We also publish reviews of books (in all languages) that have been published within the past two years.

Fees

Submission and publication in Stan Rzeczy is completely free of charge – the journal does not apply any fees for processing and publishing manuscripts.

Open Access

Stan Rzeczy is an open access journal. The publisher guarantees free and permanent online access to the content of every issue, with no embargo period and no technical barriers, including no requirement for users to register to read content.

Revenue Sources

The journal does not receive any revenues from publication of regular issues. The Journal is financed by the University of Warsaw. Any revenues from special issues, supplements or any other form of subsidies or sponsorships that occur on an irregular basis, do not influence the decisions of the Editors.

There is no subscription fee.

Advertising

The Journal does not accept publication of any advertising material. In-house advertising might appear in a form of banners on the Journal web site and within the Journal. Advertisements are not related in any way to the editorial decisions.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright to their articles (© Author) and grant the publisher of the journal a non-exclusive licence for the publication of the paper, free of charge.

Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), a copy of which is available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.

 

This licence allows you to share and adapt the published content on the condition that you give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made.

Repositiories and Archiving

Stan Rzeczy permits and encourages authors to archive their articles as a preprint, postprint or as their final version published in the journal on personal websites or in institutional repositories, while providing bibliographic details that credit, if applicable, its publication in this journal.

The publisher is committed to preservation of scholarly research. As per Polish legal regulations, the journal is obliged to deposit copies of every published issue at the National Library of Poland. Upon publication, all the material is immediately sent to the Library and goes through archiving procedures.
